Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/07
It’s a perfect winter morning. Snow crunching below your feet at every step. It was minus 8 when I left home and got to minus 12 on my way here this morning. Talked to a friend who had -18. No new snow over night. There were about ten sleds at the gas station when I got here and I have been told somebody already rolled one in the ditch across from the station this morning. Motels in Grayling are jammed and riders had the air filled with 2 stroke smoke as they had their sleds warming up. A few of the pics from the motel lots this morning and they were all full, Motel 72 had 13 trailers which fills that place up, days inn 16 and the ramada had 35 plus a ton of jeeps there that hopefully stay off the sled trails. As I went by Fays Motel with their no vacancy sign on the grayling groomer was pulling out of their lot. So I am certain we are off to a busy day in Frederic. Please Ride Safely. Thanks for checking in.
