Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/25
Nothing has changed besides I think today my counter will hit the 3 million mark. It’s 35 and cloudy here in Frederic this morning and the morning train has already passed thru heading north. The weatherman said we were supposed to get a couple slushy inches overnight but we didn’t get a drop of anything. Temps are supposed to drop and winds are supposed to come from the north west so that is good. If we are lucky we will have a few new inches by the weekend…snow chants please. Gee if I could only get a quarter for every hit on my webpage it wouldn’t be so hard waiting for the snow to come in……I took the same three pictures again this morning that I have done the past couple of days, trail 7 just north of the high school, trail 7 towards Gaylord at the north end of Frederic, and my parking lot. If you compare the 3 different days you will see how it keeps going downhill. Let’s hope for snow in the next 24 hours. On the bright side the no snow is holding the sledding deaths down, only 3 so far this year and last year at this time it was at 11. Thanks for checking in.
