Newberry Trail Report – Visit Newberry – 01/29
A good bit of snow fell lastnght/early this morning.. 6-8″ fluffy stuff total on top of a decent base layer, some dirty patches were still visible yesterday where a lot of sleds went through. <> January 29, 2017 WE URGE RIDERS TO RIDE WITH CAUTION AND BE AWARE OF CHANGING CONDITIONS ON THE TRAILS. North Trail #9 Pine Stump Jct./Seney/Grand Marais Trail is in good condition. Trail #45 to the Falls/Paradise Trail This trail is in good condition. Logging operation from Skyline road to the east for four miles. Please watch out for logging trucks. Dirt is starting to show up in the middle of the trail where the road is plowed. South Trail #9/2 to Epoufette/Trout Lake Trail is in fair condition and we are grooming to Trout Lake and Epoufette. Right outside of Newberry the trail is showing dirt and water holes.
