Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 02/28
It’s been raining on and off this morning in Frederic and we are supposed to get three different waves of it, so what we do have left will get hit even harder today. I drove up to Gaylord this morning and the trail along 27 actually looked pretty white most of the way but all the drive crossings were mostly bare and then other bare spots along the way too. I stopped in at Bob Evans for breakfast which I hardly ever go out for breakfast and ran into Jerry for the Sled Shed. I haven’t talked to him in a while but he and I are both in the same boat on how great the snowmobile business is right now. Pictures below are from Ohio Brian from yesterday and he said he actually had a pretty good ride. The really nice picture is from Ron who took that pic on sunday. To give you an idea of how much snow we lost since Friday the 17th study the penguin picture. This was on a wood pile, the top clothes pin was how much snow there was on Friday.
