Ontonagon Trail Report – 03/01
Trail conditions: Trail 1 North from White Pine to Lake of the Clouds – from WP to the ski hill, fair. From the ski hill to LOTC, very good. Trail 11 (South Boundary Road) is excellent. Trail 12 from WP to Ontonagon is good but use extreme caution on the western 4 miles along LP Walsh Rd. Trail 101 to Trail 13 to Rockland is in good condition. Trail 137 (rail road grade) between Rockland and Ontonagon is thin but rideable. Trail 12 from Ontonagon to Greenland is in good condition, with one wet area by the woodspur. We believe Gogebic south of us is not groomed, but Superior and Keweenaw to our Northeast are good. <> 4 inches of new snow last night in White Pine. The groomers were out last night doing repairs.
