Seney Trail Report – 03/11
Trails are snow covered and groomed. A great weekend of riding in the Seney Area… <> <> <> SENEY TRAIL REPORT – 03/10 We got another couple inches of snow since yesterday so things are pretty white again. It’s deceiving though. The traffic this weekend I’m sure will use it up quickly. Snow up north is great. Trails out of town for the first couple miles are thin snow with new snow over frozen base. Trail 43 out of town: first 2 miles we aren’t grooming. You can ride it on your sled but it’s not froze enough yet for the groomer to go down. Detour signs are up. That water hole on the railroad grade where the stops signs are is water again, so if you been blowing thru it after it froze up then you should prepare to stop for it now. Again don doesn’t want to run the groomer over it and break it up more for the weekend so that few miles of trail they are skipping with the groomer so it might get a little rough. There is also a water hole on the grade just before Petrol rd. It’s 20′ long but you can get around it. The last 2 miles into Shingleton is not being groomed for the same reason. Water and dirt spots you can get around but not froze enough to support groomer. This is a detailed report I got from the operator. The report I got for trail 431 wasn’t as detailed but from what I understand there is more snow going east. This will be my last update for this weekend. You have already decided whether your coming north or not and our veterans ride is keeping me very busy. Trail south to Curtis is not good. You’ll need to trailer up from Curtis. Mater’s Stop -N- Go Gas Station – 3/9 Snowed all night and woke up to a nice 2-3 inch blanket of white gold! Trails were groomed so this accumulation should have made them even better! <> Trail Report – 3/8 Trails are great up north and the guys are grooming. The trail on 77 is snirt. Trail 43 was closed during the warm up. Don will check that one tomorrow; he went up 431 today. The groomer operator said where we are grooming up the side of 450 for the detour is great. Parking lots and roads are bare. They will be riding out of town on sleds for the vet ride on Saturday. Trail south to Curtis is not good. You’ll need to trailer up from Curtis. <> <> <> Below are the latest postings from the Seney Page On Facebook. <> This message is only visible to site admins <> <> Latest Trail Reports – Quick Links <>Seney On Facebook
