IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – Thursday’s Snow forecast is holding steady, no major changes and that is great news! We’re forecast to receive 8-12" of wet heavy snow followed by plummeting temperatures & Lake Effect Snow. Both groomers are ready to rock (Thank you Steven Gerszewski & Lulich Implement!) and we will resume grooming sometime Thursday. Riders please note we stopped grooming yesterday due to temps – moving warm snow around causes even more friction and speeds up melting. Trails will be rough today, we apologize but we are not a club that sacrifices tomorrow for today. We are planning to groom Trail 160 Thursday and then hit all the other trails ASAP. Trail 160 and trail 11S require our lightweight groomer. Do your Heikki Lunta snow dance and let’s have a fun and safe weekend!
