Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/10
Let’s see how this goes. Thankfully this morning in Frederic at 10:30 A.M. its 30 degrees and very cloudy. Today and tomorrow are the two days that will make or break the trails. Temps tomorrow are supposed to be into the 40s or even 50. We need to hope it stays cloudy both days. What I did this morning was take 3 pics of the trail crossings. Both east & west at trail 7 north of the high school and trail 7 at the north end of Frederic along the tracks towards Gaylord. That trail to me looked the thinnest with stones showing on it. After Thursday its supposed to cool back down to the teens and snow is supposed to start back up so that may save us for the weekend. I am going to post the same three pics tomorrow morning and Friday morning to see what happens at those crossings. This is MLK weekend coming up which seems early this year and many people count on an extended weekend of riding. Like I keep saying only time will tell if we can pull it off. Also I have one 10 x 12 storage unit that came open that will fit 2 sleds if anyone needs inside sled storage. Thanks for checking in.
