Newberry Trail Report – 01/12
NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association – Today’s pic from Pine Stump, ton of sleds out here, visibility limited lots of snow! January 12, 2018 Due to the warm up and rain our trails are ICY PLEASE SLOW DOWN ESPECIALLY THE CORNERS. North Trail #9 Trail is in fair condition. We lost a lot of snow the last couple of days to the warm temperatures and rain. There is large water hole along the ditch on CR 407 between Pine Stump and Holland Staging area. Be careful in this area. Please note we are not grooming the ditch area until it freezes. Trail #45 This trail is in fair condition. Watch out for WATER HOLES our trail is being plowed between Skyline Road and Laurel Lake Road. This part of the trail is dirt and the Gimlet Creek is open water again. South Trail #9/2 This trail lost its snow the last couple of days. The trails are currently dirt.
