Ironwood Trail Report – 02/11

02/01018: We are grooming nearly non-stop hitting most trails at least once a day. We remain down 1 groomer, with major failure to Transmission/Final Drive. Please be patient as we cover 2/3rds of a very large county and have no choice but to work West to East & back, but we’re looking into replacement/loaner rig to rent. Thankfully the cold temps is helping to keep the snow from moving too much and our drag for our working groomer gets new blades tonight! Overall trail conditions are VERY GOOD, lots of snow on the trails!! Beware of icy corners and icy entrance/exits to corners. The warm up on Friday caused some significant icing, so please keep your speeds down until we get more snow. PLEASE STAY ON THE TRAIL! PLEASE DON’T STEAL OUR TRAIL SIGNS. Hard to believe we have to continue echoing these issues, we are so lucky we have some of the most friendly landowners around. See below segment reports for detailed information. Please remind yourselves and riders in your group to check road crossings TWICE (at least!) before venturing across roadways. If traveling on a county road ROW keep speeds slow to avoid any issues……
