KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort – Good afternoon Kruppers!
Well we hit the trails for once today!
And it’s been AWESOME!
Left Kruppy at 9am and are at Bear Belly’s in Lac Labelle and not sure if I hit 5 bumps!
Had a great lunch here at Bear Bellys too!
I highly recommend a stop here!
It’s one of my favorite stops and the view is unreal here!
I passed 6 different groomers starting at South Range!
Snow and trails are BEAUTIFUL!
It’s early so this afternoon could be a different story!
I took a few helmet cam videos but can’t post from my phone but ill share a pic taken from Bear Belly’s looking up at Mount Bohemia ski hills!
Stay tuned cause we’re heading to Copper Harbor from here and I’ll report more later!
I sure hope the trails hold for my ride back to Kruppys back yard!
I’ll be back in the woods tomorrow and see how the off trail is!

This is the Keweenaw Snowmobile Trail System Report for Friday, March 9, 2018.

Snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open and in good condition groomers are out.
Remember when you’re out on the trails to watch out for the groomers. They have the right away.

The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, drive safely. The signs on the trail are there for riders’ safety so please DO Not remove or destroy them.

Snowfall & Weather:

Snow fall in the Keweenaw Peninsula – 4 inches of new snow with 40 inches of snow on the ground, 256.5 inches have fallen to date as of 3/9/2018.
Today’s forecast: Partly cloudy, with a no chance of snow, high 27, low 18
Tomorrow’s forecast: Partly cloudy with a 10% chance of snow high 28, low 15
Sunday: Mostly sunny with a 10% chance of snow, high 30, low 24
Monday: Mostly sunny with a 20% chance of snow, high 30, low 19
Tuesday: Cloudy, with a 20% chance of snow, high 23, low 20
