Much colder air will arrive in the U.P. later today and tonight which will invigorate the lake effect snow machine for northwest wind snowbelts. Expect several fluffy inches of snow across the western U.P., Keweenaw, and areas east of Munising through Thursday. Allow extra time for driving, especially Thursday morning.
