GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc.​ – GM groomers stayed in last night so no trail report this morning. We have a critical shortage of groomer drivers this year. There are 4 guys (Jack, Ted, Will & Dan) to maintain our entire Crazy 8 trail system. So with the forecast showing a significant snowfall for our area last night and today, they opted to send everyone out tonight to groom all trails for what looks like a busy, early season weekend.

In town we got approx. 4 inches of new snow with predictions of anywhere from 3-8 more predicted for today. So if you see our groomers out on the trail this weekend, give them a thumbs up as they’re giving it their all. In the meantime keep up with the snow dances.❄️❄️❄️
