GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc.​ – Trail 8 East: trail is in late December form. Still logging once you turn off of H58 heading East. Trail is covered with snow though. No open water just be cautious of a vehicle traffic and limbs falling off log trucks. Sleds were out last night and again this morning. -Tom

The trails are shaping very quickly, and in excellent condition. nice hard pack with the colder weather, we had more fresh snow this evening with some blowing and mild blizzard like conditions.
