GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – Last report of the day from Groomer Ted- Trail 8 East is thin along H-58 , and there is logging just past Pullup Hill , The rest is in Good condition , all the way out to the last leg , there on the Last 2 miles , in the tight curves , and hills it is thin , and wore THRU to dirt , in some corners … Overall still real good riding … Ran North trail Thursday evening with Trainee Kevin, trail was in good shape except for a few spot in NASCAR turns has exposed dirt, we saw about 15 sleds out enjoying an evening ride. Trail is Flat for the most part. Those snow dances would be much appreciated. Groomer Will West on H58. Conditions on H 58 are good to excellent. When you get off the paved road there are areas of brown snow, but nothing too bad. Started snowing about midnight. Prospects for the weekend look good to me.
