GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – Ran North Sunday night, trail 8, 88 and 888. Trail was in good shape other than a little bumpy, trail 8 from 888 to 89 8 junction was in great shape. 888 and 88 was bumpy from the logging process that recently ended and was able to cut it down enough to remove them. Entire North trail is in real good shape now except the infamous NASCAR turns on 88 between Adams trail and m-77 where bubbleheads should be aware of some sand still showing through. Light snow coming down most of the night also helped in getting trail back in shape. Groomer Will Snow! West on eight snowed all the way back. Greatly improved conditions. Good sledding over the holidays. Merry Christmas. Groomer Dan Groomer Ted sent this halfway through his run – “YUP ! SNOW ! East tr 8 , is a good trail to get some scenery .
