Seney Trail Report – 01/05
Hello Everyone, We groomed last night. Trail 43 to Wagner Taylor Dam Rd. had a few bumps, was thin on snow, there’s the logging at the Four Mile Detour but just into the trail from CR 450, then they turn south so there’s no real effect on the trail. Trail 431 up to the bra tree is getting slightly better, still thin and whooped out though. From there north is in fairly decent shape, still thin though. Lots of corners (especially where they are logging) are really icy right now though, I saw lots of slide marks all the way through the corner. Keep those snow dancing boots on! I will keep you updated as much as possible on here or Mater’s Stop N Go for updates as well! Hope to see you all soon! -Randy Dunn <> SENEY AREA UPDATE via Seney Snowmobile Association – Groomer Ryan went out on Trail 431 last night and advised me that the trails were pretty close to the same as they’ve been all season, by the bra tree is getting slightly better, still thin and whooped out though. CR 450 at Wagner Taylor Dam Rd. north has good snow all the way to the grade. Took most of the bumps out but some still remain. At Trail 43 on the grade to Mahoney Lake Road the trail is great, once we passed that intersection headed to the Bear Trap it was rough. We cleaned the road crossings and now are in great shape. Their was snow to work with on the return trip and we took most of the moguls out, once again with all the traffic that were going to see today they will be back sooner than when we can hit this area again.Postings From Regional Pages On Facebook
