Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/20
Not a flake of new snow and minus ten degrees. Actually it has warmed up to minus 1 now but this has been the coldest night of the season. Sled traffic was steady but very slow for this time in the season yesterday. Riders that were in were still for the most part pleased with what they were riding on and said it was better than they thought it would be. Quite a few readers stopped in just to say hi so that was nice. Also a big THANK YOU to Joe M who sent me in a 2009 trail permit for the collection. Updated pic is below and I have the other 3 years so I just need to get another frame to add them too. Also another BIG THANK YOU to the guy that came in yesterday with another 2009 permit and the lady that emailed me that said she had one for me too. Apparently there are quite a few people that like to collect those in their garages or shops. The video below was sent to me by the boyfriend of the girl that I wrote about last week that crashed at Starvation Lake pulling into the Hide Away. No explanation needed as the video tells the story. Other pics are from yesterday including little Knox sporting his new Sledheads beanie. Also I still do not know who filled my plow truck with black balloons yesterday but my gut feeling is it was the girls from my Century 21 office. I would have never seen them till dark if it wasn’t for some other girls that came in asking why my truck was full of balloons. I went to the Frederic Inn for prime rib last night and as soon as I walked in the door I was told by several people to leave. The reason was that they had read my story the other day on Dingmans and they didn’t want me to bring bad luck to the place. Well they ended up letting me stay but when I left there I went over to the Swamp and the same thing happened to me over there. I assured everyone I was no where near those place so all is well. <> Visit Sledheads of Frederic Website >>>> <> This message is only visible to site admins <> Visit Sledheads of Frederic Website >>>> <> Latest Trail Reports – Quick Links <>Postings From Regional Pages On Facebook
