Blue Sky Snowmobile Rentals Trail Reports <> TRAVERSE CITY UPDATE via Ranch Rudolf – 2/8/19 update: well, well, well rain turned to snow and we ended up with about 4 new inches on the ground this morning. Lots of wind and blowing now. 9 degrees. We are currently plowing, shoveling and dealing with animal care with feed/water/tank heaters/blankets. Grooming is set to resume tonight. Certainly rideable, but will know more after a groomer report. Everything is snow covered. As I’ve said all season, conditions are not perfect, but at least we have something to work with. Strange season for sure <> TRAVERSE CITY UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – Our base survived the rain yesterday. Then we picked up 4-6” of fresh snow last night and lake effect continues today. Groomers will be out tonight and all weekend attempting to fix the trails and fill any water holes. I would put the trails fair to good after the groomers run tonight !
