Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 02/12
Polar Vortex round 2 on its way as I type, snowing almost white out snow at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in downtown Frederic, just pulled my plow truck inside to keep the snow from piling up for when I do have to plow later on today. I think riding will be tough this morning and today with the white out going on out there. We are in the 6 to 10 inch range and we are already at 2 inches. Blowing pretty good out there too. Had a group in last night about 5:30 and they had been out riding all day, I knew I should have rode yesterday instead of hanging out in here all day…..Lets see if we really get ten inches…..trails are already darn close to perfect so this will only get better and deeper off trail. I am still hearing from people how they thought there wasn’t enough to ride this past weekend and then after seeing reports from people that did ride they are sorry they didn’t come up. Well you cant cry over snow that you didn’t think was here……. My storage lot has the most trailers in it that I have had in there and is pretty darn close to full. I have to have room to push the snow. I guess that’s a good problem to have.
