Newberry Trail Report – 02/27
TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association update: Ok, here’s the update: we have groomed through to the Falls and back, so that trail is good. We only made it as far as the Seney/Grand Marais intersection heading towards Pine Stump, hoping to finish grooming that through tonight! On the South trail we ran into some very large downed trees that have now been cleaned up, groomed through to Trout Lake, we still have to do the Epoufette spur. So much snow! <> February 27, 2019 TASA has received the part for our groomer. Hope to have all 3 groomers on the trail today. We had to run short runs last night due to the Blizzard on Monday. The crew had to clean up brush, fallen trees and go thru snow drifts. PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND STAY RIGHT. Watch out for the groomers they will be on the trail during the day. Trail #9 Good condition only groomed to CR 455 last night. Please watch for the dog sled crossings on this trail. Trail #45 Good condition and groomed to the Falls. There is logging on this trail just east of the Skyline Road. South Trail #9/2 Fair Condition only groomed to Rexton Store last night. Trail #2 west of Hurd Road (west of the Rexton Store) will be plowed for a logging operation. Please watch for logging trucks. <> Visit Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association on Facebook <> Visit Newberry Area Tourism Association on Facebook <> Visit Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association Report on MSA <> <> Visit Visit Newberry Website >>>> <> Latest Trail Reports – Quick Links <>Postings From Regional Pages On Facebook
