Ironwood Trail Report – Gogebic Range Trail Authority – 11/27
Trails remain closed. Many downed trees, wet areas and flowing water. We’ll get more pictures out tomorrow! Daytime orv/UTV use restricted to 11am-2pm due to deer hunting season. (Trails are closed) … Look how deep the snow is on the tracks!!! Groomer Man Dan wired in two new light bars, another beacon, did full filters/fluid change and decided to head to Ironwood for a shake down run/trail inspection. 12-18″ is down across the area, roads are horrific and SOME TRAILS IN MI OPEN SUNDAY DEC 1 WHILE WISCONSIN OPENS 12/16. Please allow us to get out, pack trails and clear them of brush from the crazy wind. Not all trails will open 12/1! Respect our landowners and stay home with all illegal loud pipes (we know some can be quiet). We have a tremendous base setting up, signing to finalize so we ask all be patient. Stay safe! Trails open 12/1, stay off until then! 160 will not open 12/1 until equipment rolls it at least once to inspect for Hazards!! Wakefield this morning. Amounts vary, power flickering. We’ll inspect trails tomorrow and begin panking with rollers and all likelihood upgrade to drags. Who is coming to ride next week and where are you staying?
