Ironwood Trail Report – Gogebic Range Trail Authority – 12/11
IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 12/11 We have been packing trails for two weeks straight!! It’s been tough to reach down and cut the very few bumps that exist, but we’re trying. TRAILS ARE IN AMAZING SHAPE!! We only have TWO wet areas on open trails, mainly 2 mi east of Wakefield near Bingo’s trail and then on trail 2 8 miles east of Wakefield, both on pipelines. Last night trail 2 through Wakefield and 8 towards Bergland were all groomed. With a full moon over head it was a gorgeous night in the seat! We are seeing very little weekday traffic, where is everyone trails are incredible!? We hope to finish scouting trail 160 this week. It has been delayed due to typical start up mechanical issues with the rigs. You think you check them completely, but a couple of sensors and steering pucks make a big difference. Thank you to Lulich Implement, Inc.
