Ironwood Trail Report – 12/13
IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 12/13 Friday 12/13 10:00 am CST: We saw over a foot of snow Monday – Tuesday, we’ve seen another 2-4″ Thursday. We’ve been trying to pack trails for two weeks and the snow just hasn’t quit! We had frigid temps this week that dramatically tightened up the trails, meaning all the snow is finally packing in tight (which keeps bumps down). Water hazards are almost completely gone on our open trails! Current riding conditions rival or are above the best conditions of 2016-2017 grooming season (in our area). We need more groomer volunteers, please contact us today. Groomers will roll out tonight all night long to put trails back into shape for Saturday. Please know warm temps on Friday will cause the trail base to move significantly IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P.
