Ironwood Trail Report – 01/24
IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 1/23 Our groomer headed out yesterday around 2pm after a brief nap/thaw to receive preventative maintenance. Since Sunday, our lone groomer (one is broke down) has been off & in the barn a total of 8 hours. Which means expect groomers on trail during the day, it’s our only way to keep up. Trails required heavy dozing to flatten corners and cut bumps out last night. Many sections (Bessemer to Wakefield, Wakefield area) received 4 to 6 passes to relay the trail in an acceptable manner. THANKFULLY you riders called it an early night and trails were able to set up without traffic for 6-8 hours. As of 8am we still hadn’t seen tracks through Wakefield. Remember how easily trails whoop up when it is warm, hard throttling only rips trails up faster. These machines are for FUN so we know it’s a hard line to ride, but it’s your ride so you guys call the shots! We’ll pick up the mess after you like a begrudged parent, like normal. <> Report via Gogebic Range Trail Authority Website <> Report via Gogebic Range Trail Authority on Facebook <> This message is only visible to site admins <> Visit Gogebic Range Trail Authority Website >>>> <> Latest Trail Reports – Quick Links <>Postings From Regional Pages On Facebook
