KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – All reports from riding Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula today are coming in saying trails were great with some fresh snow! If you are riding the Keweenaw this weekend please share your photos and comments with us! <> February 6, 2020 Snowmobile trails are in good to very good condition throughout the Keweenaw. Trails are groomed daily throughout the region. Trail 133 is closed for logging. The trail section from Dollar Bay to Lake Linden (a portion of Trail 3) and the Freda Trail (Trails 121 & 120) will be closed the entire season for repair. Remember when you’re out on the trails to watch out for the groomers. They have the right away. Please stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, drive safely. The signs on the trails are there for rider’s safety so please DO NOT remove or destroy them. Houghton County has received a total of 125.0″ of snow for the season and Keweenaw County has received 219.6″ of snow for the season.* Today’s forecast: A mix of clouds and sun during the morning with cloudy skies this afternoon.
