Munising Area Trail Report – 02/09
MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – 2/9 TRAIL REPORT – Sunday, 02-09-2020 <> MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 2/9 Last nights groom went well. The trail was hard and was a tough pull, but most of it panned out well. The cold temps have helped greatly to hold the trail up, even with the heavy traffic yesterday. ( Saturday ) Will be making some adjustments to the drag this week to hopefully have it pan out even smoother. Didn’t have the manpower tonight for a split shift, so I took it all on myself and put in close to a 14.5 hour night. That’s with helping S.O.R.V.A out. We will continue to do what we can to help them out as much as possible. Teamwork is important in this sport to get things done. There have been a lot of break downs with groomers all over the state this year. So bear with all the clubs that are having problems. Lord knows we have our own problems, but we all are doing what we can to get it done. Ride right and stay safe out there. P.S. sorry so long. FRESH SNOW – NICE RIDING CONDITIONS
Overall trail conditions are very good with exception of parts of Trail 419. A little fresh snow last night helped trails groom nice but are not setting a hard ribbon. We are still down a machine with Trenary Northern Trails helping us on the West end. Part of Trail 419 is inaccessible by our running groomer and will not be groomed until the Bully is operational. The forecast is calling for a few more inches of snow so lets keep the cold weather snow dancing going and hope for more. Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe!
