Gaylord Area Trail Report – 02/29

Trails are in “Good Condition.” Grooming is being done! We have received over a foot of snow in the last 48 hours!

There is a section on the south loop of the Johannesburg trail just south of Old State Road that washed out and is currently taped off. A culvert will be going into this section to eliminate future water issues. Please use caution riding past this area, but it should be fixed quickly. Please stay on the trails and off the tracks!

Sledheads of Frederic –
Super Saturday, and sunny and 32 degrees, been super busy since I got here and town is packed with sleds, same way it was yesterday but it was snowing and blowing so hard I couldnt beleive it. Snows and winds have subsided but this might be it. I dont like the weather forcast for next week so we will have to see what happens….right now all the sleds that are out there have to enjoy what we do have. PIcs below are from yesterday, I couldnt believe how many sleds were around the front and sides and back of the Frederic Inn……So just gonna get this on while I can….Thanks for checking in and Think Snow…..Pete
