Munising Area Trail Report – 03/09
MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – 3/9 TRAIL REPORT – Monday, 03/09-2020 Overall trail conditions are very good to good with great riding conditions. Trails are a little soft but have a great base. Grooming is on hold due to high temperatures and wet snow. Trails 8, 417, 418 and 7 North are very good. All other Trails are a bit choppy but not bad considering the weather and not groomable right now. Trail 419 between Christmas and Munising has moguls on inside corners but is fairly flat elsewhere and very much rideable as long as you slow down and pay attention to trail conditions. Trail 419 between Munising and Wetmore has the big hill on the Munising side icy at the top with moguls on the inside corners but all rideable. As soon as grooming can resume we are expecting all trails, with exception of 419, to be going up to very good condition. Keep cold weather snow dancing so we can hang on to the season, Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe! <> MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 3/8 So two night ago Gary was out, last night I was out. Gary was out during the storm, did all he could, I was out last night cleaning up after the storm with a lot of drifting. We both had a long night. Tonight Steve is out and is reporting some bad sections of the trail. They will be smooth in the morning, but with warm temps again the trail takes a lot of abuse and gets best up quickly. Going to be close to 50 tomorrow (Sunday) and may not get below freezing Sunday night, so most likely we won’t be grooming Sunday night. The next week we are looking at high temps during the day, but still cool at night. We will be grooming every night we possibly can untill mother nature says we can’t no more. Ride on the right and stay safe out there… MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – Trail Report – 3/7 Trail 7 south near CR440 <> Visit Alger County SORVA Facebook Page >>>> <> Visit Alger County SORVA Trail Report >>>> <> Visit TNT Trenary Northern Trails Facebook Page >>>> <> <> Latest Trail Reports – Quick Links <>
