Paradise Area Trail Report – 03/11
PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org – 3/11 March 11, 2020 <> March 11, 2020 28 degrees this morning and snowing lightly. Looks like we picked up about an inch last night. I went for a ride all day yesterday so here`s a report from the seat of my sled…… We headed out for Pine Stump in the morning. It did get down into the teens the night before and we had a heavy dusting of snow and the trails were hard and a touch icey. Trail #8 was smooth for the most part with just a few stutter bumps in a few corners, which I like anyhow. All in all…perfect for me. On the way back the the trail softened up nice but a few more chatter bumps showed up and the dirt roads thawed some so they were muddy but we got around them just fine. Saw more traffic than I expected though, probably about 100 other sleds. We also rode trails #452 and #453 and they were awesome….flat as a board…only about 10 sleds down them all day by the looks of the tracks on them. The 2 guys I took with me said it was the best late season riding they ever had! So, that covers the Stump trail and the Point trails. I haven`t been to the barn in 2 days now and have not heard from anyone so don`t know what is going on today, except Groomer Mike is runnin the Stump trail today. Thats all I know. Thanks for tuning in. Had an excellent day on the trails yesterday, only my 2nd ride of the season…..sad….for living UP here. The weather has been all over the place so not even gonna guess whats next.
