Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 12/18
It’s calm and quiet at 28 degrees here in downtown Frederic, still pretty white out there but I would classify riding as fair but on the other hand we have alot more snow then people do elsewhere. Forcast looks like no new snow till maybe next thursday when temps drop and lake effect snow will kick in and that would be perfect timing for the day after Christmas. Only time and the snow chants will tell. One of my favorite videos I did from years ago with the snow chant is right here mo mo nah chee chee nah snow chant Hopefully we will still hold some of this thru next week……Sled traffic was very light around town yesterday and I would think it will be light this weekend but then there are always those that just have to get out there and thats good for carbide and slide business. Before anyone gets on the "SEE CLIMATE CHANGE IS FAKE" train... one of these below average maps DOES NOT negate the other 500 above average ones. Trends, folks. Trends. Nothing is a straight line. After Thanksgiving, a large portion of the U.S. will likely see below normal temperatures into early December. And of course, there's southern Florida. 🌞
