Trails rated fair to poor with side trails being fair to good and main trails being poor to fair. We decided to send a groomer to groom Wakefield to our turn around with Gogebic Area Grooming Early season riding exists with low snow hazards on trails. They are very icy. An additional 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected over the east, primarily north of M-28. on trail 8. We suggest trailering to Wakefield and unloading. Trustees Charlie and Joe our trail 160 bosses signed fields and pipelines closed. Steve with the pictures signed the reroute on trail 11S. Trails rated fair to poor, we have not groomed Ironwood, 160, 11S or trail 2. The first polar front will sweep through the Midwest on Thanksgiving day bringing temperatures 10 to 15 degrees below average. Lows below zero are expected for some across the north and in the single digits down to I80. Highs this weekend will only be in the single digits and teens for areas down to I80. Dangerous wind chills of -20 degrees or colder are increasingly likely, especially north of I90. The graphic below shows the temperatures on Sunday morning.
Another polar front will move through next week bringing even colder temperatures.
