Ironwood Trail Report – 01/09
IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 01/09 It rips us up not grooming and after seeing a lot of riders roll into town we decided to make an attempt. Trail 2 from Ironwood to the 11S intersection has been groomed at least twice. 11S was double passed and rated in good condition with 70% being very good, it will be our best Trail this weekend. Trail 8 was double passed from Wakefield and east to our turn around. Trail 160 was groomed overnight as well, but low snow grooming bit us hard with a major drag failure on our program-returned T6. It will be down for some time, drag is riddled with cracks. The ski hills saw one pass. It is just thin thru there. Trails rated fair overall. Some spots poor, some good, some very good. They will get icy and low snow hazards exist. Please ride cautiously! Thank you Ryan for grooming 12am to 9am, Jerry 12pm to 1am and Dan 1pm to 8pm, Victor ran 5pm to 9pm and Steve 9pm to 12am.
