Cadillac / Baldwin Area Trail Report – Wolf Lake Motel and Resort – 02/02

Hi All, we just had one of our guest that has been riding since Sunday and he was averaging 200 to 250 miles a day, so the trails can’t be that bad. The other guest that are riding, some went to Kaleva with good trails except a short section of trail 3 just south of Low Bridge and the others rode to Caberfae and Wellston and found smooth trails all the way. Trails 340 and 362 are scheduled to be groomed today, Lincoln Hills and the McCarthy Lake area were groomed yesterday, but more snow would be very nice. We did get a half inch last night and they are forecasting a couple more inches today and tomorrow. Some trails are icy and have some snirt in them, but over all, are good to fair condition, except the southern section of trail 344 is pretty thin. One thing that is nice around here, we are in the middle of 6 different grooming clubs, (which we are members of 4), if one isn’t grooming, one of the other Clubs are grooming and we have maps right in the Office. Plus there are tons of seasonal roads and two tracks to explore. But please stay off of private property. The forecast is for 40 percent chance of snow Tuesday and Thursday, so conditions should get better and better.

We are running a Bed and Sled Special. Get a modern well maintained single passenger Snowmobile from 10am until 6pm and one of our small single Motel Rooms, Sunday through Thursday for $230, helmet and tax included or get a modern well maintained two passenger Snowmobile from 10am until 6pm and one of our small single Motel Rooms, Sunday through Thursday for $260, helmet and tax included. Weather permitting.

Also stay two days and get the third free, Sunday through Thursday. No Fridays and Saturdays. You must mention at the time of the reservation and of course this special is dependent on availability and can not be combined with any other offer.

Plus we are in the middle of one of the largest ORV trail systems in the state, so if the snow isn’t that great for snowmobiling, bring your ORV up and ride over 200 miles of ORV trails. PLEASE DON’T RIDE YOUR ORV ON THE GROOMED SNOWMOBILE TRAILS. There are plenty of open trails available for ORV riding. Don’t worry winter isn’t over for snowmobiling, but a winter ORV ride can be a blast too. If you don’t have a snowmobile or yours is broken, no problem, WE HAVE ON-SITE SNOWMOBILE RENTALS right here at the Resort. There is good snow in the woods, so two tracken and seasonal roads are a blast right now. (Which there are tons of). 231 745 4101 8am until 10pm

Rooms and ON-SITE Snowmobile Rentals are available.
