Ontonagon Trail Report – 02/20
ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP – 02/20 Trail Report – All 3 groomers were out last night and the trails are in excellent condition. All trails were groomed except Trail 12 between Greenland and Ontonagon & the section between White Pine and the intersection of Trail 101. Please Note: Trail 13 – The "Rock Hill" section is now open, but the snow is thin in that area. Please slow down and look for loose rocks on the trail. Trail 1 – The section between Silver City and the ski hill is also thin along Lake Superior. We groomed up and back last night, but there is not enough snow to fix this area. Please slow down as it is pretty "whooped" up in the low spots. We are seeing alot of new off-trail tracks into the Porkies. THE PORCUPINE MOUNTAIN STATE PARK IS OFF LIMITS TO OFF TRAIL RIDING. PLEASE STAY ON THE TRAIL OR WE COULD LOSE OUR RIGHT TO RUN OUR TRAILS THRU THE PARK.
