IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 12/09 TRAIL REPORT: Trail 2 from Ironwood to Marenisco is in good shape, it’s our recommended ride for those seeking a suggesting. Loop back on the "new" trail 11 (formerly trail 2) to make a nice loop. Wet areas near Highway 2 crossing at Ramsay light in the woods before Blackjack ski hill. Trail 8 will be groomed before the weekend. Famous wet area at county line remains. Riding not advised for anyone who can’t ride "backcountry" type obstacles. Trail 11 S to Winchester was track packed Monday and will be rolled tonight for first time. We only got the northern 5 miles packed. Better report tomorrow morning.
