Building that base! We have a winter weather advisory for 3-6 inches of fresh white gold. It is currently starting to snow with more to come. The trails are starting to get better with some snirty areas. Traffic this weekend was moderate in the area and the groomer drivers are reporting that they are starting to get something to work with (see pic). Trails are currently rated as fair to good with some ice in the corners. On another note, a boogie wheel was found in the Rasho road drop zone incase anyone is looking for it (pic attached). Before anyone gets on the "SEE CLIMATE CHANGE IS FAKE" train... one of these below average maps DOES NOT negate the other 500 above average ones. Trends, folks. Trends. Nothing is a straight line. After Thanksgiving, a large portion of the U.S. will likely see below normal temperatures into early December. And of course, there's southern Florida. 🌞

It was announced at the meeting that GTASC will be receiving a new Dubie drag for this season. (Our current drags are 20+ years old). This will be a welcomed addition to the fleet and cut down on our current maintenance time and cost. There is still plenty of work that needs to be performed on the trails. We will be brushing this Sunday. If you can, come on out and give us a hand. We would appreciate it! #traversecity
