Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 02/12
FREDERIC / GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic – 2/12 It’s a very chilly 6 degrees with a very sunny start to the day in downtown Frederic. Had 2 sleds in right off the bat that said it was a rough ride but they came in to get trail permits. I have seen a few other sleds buzzing around and over at the swamp this morning. No new snow to speak of since yesterday and this coming up weeks forcast isnt good with warm temps coming back….this winter is getting close to a wash out except for the people up in the u.p. that have been having a good time riding with real snowfall. I saw a few sleds at the Frederic Inn yesterday but at the same time there were 4 side bys there……not the way it should look in the winter. I did however make it back down there last nite where Tammy fixed me up with a great blackend prime rib….that was the highlight of my day. Suprisingly there were 3 trailers at Days Inn and 11 trailers at the Ramada this morning and I imagine those guys all think the same thing that they arent waiting any more to ride.
