Sault Ste. Marie Trail Report – 02/21
SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – 2/21 Groomer OG Ben and his daughter Addison took care of trail 49 from the Soo to Kinross and back yesterday. We are having some issues with the tracks on this machine again so we are not able to climb the hills again on the city trail. We will update when we are able to get through there again. Thank you Ben, Addison, and all volunteers! <> <> Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association Facebook Page <> Sault Ste. Please include a rough time of when your measurement was taken, how long the snow was falling, your locations, and if possible, a picture of a ruler in the snow. ... The first polar front will sweep through the Midwest on Thanksgiving day bringing temperatures 10 to 15 degrees below average. Lows below zero are expected for some across the north and in the single digits down to I80. Highs this weekend will only be in the single digits and teens for areas down to I80. Dangerous wind chills of -20 degrees or colder are increasingly likely, especially north of I90. The graphic below shows the temperatures on Sunday morning.
Another polar front will move through next week bringing even colder temperatures. Expect reinforcing shots of very cold air over the next couple of weeks. #miweather #keweenaw #westernup #marquette #munising #seney #newberry #soo #straitsarea #petoskey #gaylord #cadillac #traversecity~First Polar Front Thanksgiving~
