IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 12/01 Groomers are headed out today! We received about 8-14″ depending on location yesterday. We have experienced 40MPH winds and expect many downed trees. We still do not have approval for our reroute and do not advise coming to ride, yet. We will have a much better report this evening once operators have had time to get into the woods. If you’re coming to ride no matter what, bring a saw and help. ! – Trail 2 is not open yet between Ramsay and Wakefield. We are waiting on MDNR approval. Then we can execute final dozer work and signage, then open the trail. Trail 2 Kwik Trip Bessemer to Hurley has been rolled and is open (7 miles of trail). We will wait for a report from the crew and update tonight.
