TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Ranch Rudolf – 12/29 An update for 12/30, brought to you by Pilgrim: For Friday we will be open 11am to 6pm with food available 12pm to 4pm. As you can see in Pilgrim’s picture, snow is melting almost as fast as it came 😞 it’s truly wild what Michigan weather can throw at us. Today averaged mid 40s and although it never rained, it was off and on mist for much of the evening. Snowmobile riding is not an option at this point. Hayrides with Beau and Knox are still going as scheduled. There is currently 1 available ride time left for Jan 2nd, please call 231-947-9529 for reservations if interested in reserving a ride for your family. As a reminder we will be closed on New Years Day. Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. This could lead to dangerous conditions for those without power or a safe source of heat.
