Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. This could lead to dangerous conditions for those without power or a safe source of heat. There is snow!
It’s not great snow. It’s not much snow. But it’s more than we’ve seen in weeks. Groomers are out panning trails and trying to get a base established. Some people were out riding today- again, not ideal conditions, but it’s something. The extended forecast looks like colder temps than we’ve been seeing, and some snow here and there..just a matter of how much we get.
