FREDERIC / GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic – 02/02
Still cold but no new snow overnight, predictions are for some more tonight, this should bring us a decent weekend of riding…..dont get to excited cause they are predicting rain next tues and wednesday. I did just have two guys from ohio in that rode to the bridge yesterday and said it was a decent ride. Thats good news cause the wertz warriors called yesterday wondering if anyone had rode up there plus they were wondering if anyone had rode to the bridge from Johannesburg. If you did please give me a call and let me know how it was. They are going to check with me later on today. So todays pics are all from Wertz Warriors at the swamp for their early morning stop and breakfast over there. Julie, Rob and the crew whipped up an incredible breakfast for the guys and she gave them a nice donation all to go to support Special Olympics. They ended their day at the Special Olympics in Traverse City and gave rides to all the kids there.
Years ago Mark Fidrych from the Tigers was a popular draw, this year they have Luther Bradley from the Lions with them. Bonus its 11 a.m. now and snowing big flakes in Frederic……MO MO NAH CHEE CHEE NAH. Please ride safely and thanks for checking in. Pete
FROM Meteorologist Brad Sugden >> I need to post this image again because WOW. I can't recall the last time nearly all of the United States was forecast to be below average. Before anyone gets on the "SEE CLIMATE CHANGE IS FAKE" train... one of these below average maps DOES NOT negate the other 500 above average ones. Trends, folks. Trends. Nothing is a straight line. The warming temperature trend line is full of peaks and valleys with an overall increasing trend. 🙂 #miweather #keweenaw#westernup #marquette #munising #seney #newberry #soo #straitsarea#petoskey#gaylord#cadillac#traversecityI need to post this image again because WOW. After Thanksgiving, a large portion of the U.S. will likely see below normal temperatures into early December. And of course, there's southern Florida. 🌞
