HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/04 February 4th, 2023 Update: Overall the trails are in good shape! Ride right, ride sober, & ride safe. 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 (𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝟳) – Groomed on Friday night, the snow gets thinner towards Mackinaw. 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 (𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗻: 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝟳𝟭, 𝟳𝟭𝟳, & 𝟳𝟭𝟭) – Groomed Trails 71 & 717 on Friday night & trail 711 was last groomed Thursday night. The water holes behind the barn are pretty well frozen but very rough/icy – ride with caution in that area. Snow gets thinner in the Alanson area. 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 (𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗻: 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝟳𝟭, 𝟳𝟭𝟬, 𝟳𝟬𝟰, 𝟳𝟬𝟱, & 𝟳𝟮𝟭) – Groomed Tails 71, 704, & 705 Friday night & everything else was last groomed on Wednesday night. <> <> FROM Meteorologist Brad Sugden >> I need to post this image again because WOW. Before anyone gets on the "SEE CLIMATE CHANGE IS FAKE" train... one of these below average maps DOES NOT negate the other 500 above average ones. Trends, folks. Trends. Nothing is a straight line.
