Harbor Springs Trail Report – 02/07
HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/07 Most all trails were groomed last night, with the sun we had yesterday some areas are now down to dirt. Bottom line is that we need more snow. It’s currently freezing rain & the high today is 38. We will keep you updated on conditions as it gets closer to the weekend. We also wanted to shout out Spankys Powersports in Alanson for being a long time supporter of the Snowmobile Club. On top of everything they do for the club they donated all of the studs for our tractor which really came in handy on the icy trails last night. <> <> FROM Meteorologist Brad Sugden >> I need to post this image again because WOW. Before anyone gets on the "SEE CLIMATE CHANGE IS FAKE" train... one of these below average maps DOES NOT negate the other 500 above average ones. Trends, folks. Trends. Nothing is a straight line. After Thanksgiving, a large portion of the U.S. will likely see below normal temperatures into early December. And of course, there's southern Florida. 🌞
