HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/09 The grade was holding up pretty well as of 2pm yesterday. We had some pretty warm temperatures & sunshine Tuesday & Wednesday but now it looks like we are in for some snow! <> <> HARBOR SPRINGS UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> 2025 Ice Storm Damage. The destruction to our trail system is overwhelming, and it will take an army to clean it up. Whether you ride these trails on a snowmobile, side by side, four-wheeler, drive them in your truck, hunt these woods, walk, or bike them, we will need your help. We have a meeting this Thursday at the Harbor Barn with the Mud Brothers & Beach’s Up North Tavern to get plans together for a trail clean up on 4/26. #harborsprings #petoskey WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Precip will gradually taper through the evening. Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing.
