Michigan Snowmobile Trail Reports

January 17, 2025 – 6:00 pm update: – FRIDAY EVENING – Slight warm up today may have suspended grooming in some areas. Colder weather returns tonight so trails should be firming up and groomers should be out this weekend. High traffic may affect conditions in some areas. Bitter cold moves in early next week. Be prepared. Have a great holiday weekend!

January 16, 2025 – 4:15 pm update: – THURSDAY AFTERNOON – A good week for the snowmobile trails of Northern Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. Cold temps and some lake effect snow have kept the trails in the snow belts in good shape. Could still use more snow at the margins of the snow belts and in other areas. More snow and a slight warm up going into the weekend. And then an arctic blast with below zero lows going into next week. Get out as soon as possible for the best trail conditions as there is likely to be a lot of traffic this holiday weekend.
