Michigan Snowmobile Trail Reports

January 14, 2025 – 8:30 pm update: – TUESDAY EVENING – Temps are staying cold and more snow is falling and every day the trails get better. The additional snow is expanding the areas of good riding in both the Upper Peninsula and Northern Lower Michigan. Now is a great time to get out and ride and conditions should remain good right through the weekend and into next week. Just remember it is a holiday weekend and a free weekend so trails are likely to be crowded. Stay tuned…

January 13, 2025 – 1:50 pm update: – MONDAY AFTERNOON – Good reports of additional lake effect snow falling in Northern Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. Areas of the Keweenaw Peninsula received 10+ inches on Sunday. Harbor Springs and Petoskey area in Northern Lower Michigan received about 10 inches with healthy totals elsewhere. There should be good riding in all of the snow belt areas and the additional snow should help expand riding opportunites outside the hearts of the snow belts. This week – midweek – will be a great time to ride with good conditions and lower traffic. Trails should set up nicely for this weekend, however, expect high traffic on the weekend trails.
