Michigan Snowmobile Trail Reports

January 12, 2026 – 4:53 pm update: – MONDAY AFTERNOON – Winter returned this weekend with cold temperatures and some snow. Trails are in very good shape in the snow belts of the U.P. and in decent shape in the snow belts of Northern Lower Michigan. A slight warm up is in the forecast through Tuesday with highs in the 30s, but cold weather returns on Wednesday and the forecast calls for cold temperatures and some snow for later in the week and through the MLK holiday weekend. Look for some very good riding for the weekend. Best strategy is to get out early and stay late.
