Michigan Snowmobile Trail Reports

February 12, 2026 – 5:45 pm update: – THURSDAY EVENING – The long stretch of great winter weather will be coming to an end this weekend with temps in the 30s and 40s this weekend and continuing into next week. Get out early this weekend to take advantage of the best conditions. Trails will be good at the start of the weekend in the Upper Peninsula and they should be fair to good throughout the weekend. Soft snow and high traffic might make for challenging conditions in the afternoon. Groomers should be able to get out at night to groom as low temperature will be in the 20s. Northern Lower Michigan has less of a base so this warm up may put more a a dent in conditions than the Upper Peninsula.
