March 27, 2026 – 11:45 am update: – FRIDAY MORNING – The best Michigan snowmobile season in many, many years continues for one more BIG WEEKEND and a couple of more days into the week. The base is still good in most of the Keweenaw Peninsula and groomers are grooming. The base is also very strong in the snow belt of the Eastern U.P. around Newberry and Munising. Today (Friday)and Saturday should be good days for riding in any of these areas with highs in the low 30s and lows in the teens.

We are getting reports that the base is still good in the Harbor Springs area in Northern Lower Michigan and the groomers are out grooming. Saturdy should be a good day for riding in that area.
