Michigan Snowmobile Trail Reports

February 17, 2026 – 2:35 pm update: – TUESDAY AFTERNOON – The February warm up is coming to an end. It looks like the Upper Peninsula came through with not much harm to the base in most regions. The good news is that there is snowstorm in the forecast for Wednesday with moderate and more than moderate accumulations especially in the Eastern U.P. The fresh snow and seasonable temperatures should leave the trails in good shape for the weekend.

Trails in Northern Lower Michigan suffered a bit more from the warm up, however, there is still plenty of snow in most areas especially in the woods. Snow and mixed precipiation is in the forecast for Wednesday. With the new snow and seasonable temperatures most trails in Northern Lower Michigan should be set up for some decent riding this weekend.
