Jordan Valley Trails Council Trail Report – 02/23
Trail update: Lots of grooming today, everything but the north 10 was done today, grooming will continue through the weekend. 8-12” of snow on almost entire trail system in last few days, unfortunately it’s fluffy lake effect so it compacts to under a couple inches. We also received a small amount of freezing rain today which will only help the lake effect snow. 4/76, 76, 766 and #trail4 in decent shape considering all the warm weather and rain we’ve had for a month. Trail along 131 is very thin, along potato fields is the worse part, but that’s ok, just remember the prestigious Jordan Valley awaits you! Get out there ASAP and enjoy the great trails while they last! ACSC and EJTB clubs both had multiple vehicles in the parking lot and no complaints from the riders today as they were greeted with fresh snow and fresh grooms! Our friends down at Kalkaska County Sand and Snow – KCSAS have been out as well, so go visit them as well! If you want to know where either of our clubs have groomed check out Groomer Tracker, it’s a great service and a portion comes back to our clubs! Get out on the trails! Right right, ride safe and ride sober.
