Ontonagon Trail Report – Scott’s Superior Inn – 12/13

We’ve finally got a break from the snow, so far since 12-1 we’ve received over 70" of snow. And we are grooming, but at this point we are still just trying to get a good base, before we start cutting. We are suppose to get our other groomer back Tues. so that will make things easier. They are calling for more snow all week, so we should be in good shape soon.

If you are still looking for lodging, give Scott’s Superior Inn a call, we still have plenty of openings in our motel rooms, suites, and cabins. Check out our web site for more info.

Traverse City Trail Report – Blue Sky Snowmobile Rentals – 12/13

no snow yet today, 1-3 expected

Well, This weekend seemed to be the first real weekend of riding this snowmobile season. The Boardman Valley was groomed late Friday and prepped for nice Saturday ride. We did see well over 100 sleds come through Peegeo’s parking yesterday, with the majority of riders I spoke to saying the trails were pretty good. By the end of the day you could see a little dirt in some areas but the trails held up well. The forecast is calling for snow most of the week so lets all keep our fingers crossed for another blast of snow before the holidays. I will be heading out to guide a tour tomorrow afternoon. I will update the report on Tuesday to let you all know how the Boardman Valley is doing.

Safe riding,

Jamie
